Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink 2011

The panoramic Exeter castle Courtyard and Northernhay Gardens will host the largest food and drink festival of South West starting from 29^th April to 1^st May 2011. Highlighting the high quality, variety and critically acclaimed event showcases the local produce of south western areas. Take the chance to interact with the local cultivators, growers and sellers to boost the region’s economy by buying the produce.

Enjoy, sample and buy an amazing array of local and regional products such as cheeses wines meat, local ales, and unique drinks, within the marquees of Northernhay Gardens. Experience demonstration cooking by some of the best celebrity chefs and enjoy the ambience. While the children’s events presents an opportunity to showcase cooking food and the joy of growing up. To add zing, on some evenings, there are late night entertainments and if you are food lover and connoisseur, this event is a must to attend.

A unique initiative, promoted by Devon County Council in collaboration with Visit Devon has formulated a plan of asking for small contributions from visitors and tourists for conserving the natural environment in the county. This initiative will be one of the many discussed on 23^rd June during the Devon Green Tourism Business event.
